Exterior character

Gables & contrast

Light exterior surfaces and dark window frames bring the home’s rooflines and architectural details into focus.

Interior perspective

Light & volume

Vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and tall windows give the interior its distinctive sense of space.

Work in progress

The finishing stages

Protected floors and active work areas tell the story honestly: this remodel was nearing completion at our visit.

The project story

Character on the outside.
Possibility within.

This Whitefish Bay remodel brings together two very different perspectives: the full scale of the home from above, and the careful work happening room by room inside.

Empire’s role includes interior painting and exterior painting as part of the larger renovation. The light exterior palette, dark window frames, and prominent gables establish a striking visual rhythm. Inside, high ceilings and exposed wood beams give the rooms their own character.

A look at progress. These photographs document a project nearing completion. Construction materials, protected surfaces, and unfinished areas remain visible because the broader remodel was still underway.

Inside the home

Let the architecture
have its moment.

The vaulted room is one of this project’s defining spaces. Repeating ceiling beams draw the eye toward the tall window, while the surrounding light surfaces allow the structure and natural light to stand out.

Other rooms offer a closer view of the remodel in progress, from the contrast around a dark window frame to the protected flooring beneath the work. Together, these images show the setting in which Empire’s team is working.
