Green siding. Cream trim. Details from every angle.

This Dousman exterior painting project features a green-sided home with cream trim, a broad front porch and three prominent dormers. The photographs follow the work around the house—from the front elevation to the side gables, courtyard and garage.

The original five photographs show views taken during the project. You can see the crew at the dormers, ladders positioned along the siding and masking around windows and fixtures. Those in-progress details offer a closer look at the setting and the surfaces involved.

October 22 project update: The newest photograph adds a wide view of the rear elevation. It shows how the green siding and cream trim carry across the porch, window surrounds and tall gables. Compare this view with the earlier photographs of the crew, masking and ladder work below.

The color plan behind the project

The September 8 color consultation records Sage for the siding and Malabar for the trim. The trim selections cover the soffits and fascia, window frames, corner boards, door frames and columns—details that repeat across the porch, dormers and sides of the home.

For a home with this many architectural details, a written surface-by-surface color plan helps keep the siding and trim choices consistent. These are the documented selections for this project; the photographs show its progress through October 22.

The mix of long siding runs, tall gables and porch details gives this home its character. Browse all six photographs below, then explore our Dousman service page if you are planning an update of your own.
