Hartland Interior Painting.
Familiar rooms.
A fresh finish.

A beautiful home doesn’t always need a new color story. Sometimes, it needs the care and craftsmanship that make the colors you already love feel fresh again.

The project

Keep the character.
Refresh the surfaces.

Finished neutral walls in a carpeted room with a fireplace
Fresh wall finishes bring a clean, calm feel to a quieter living space.

Stone fireplaces, rich wood floors, and distinctive architectural details give this Hartland home its personality. Our role was to refresh the surrounding walls while matching the existing colors and keeping that familiar character intact.

The interior scope connected everyday living spaces—from the kitchen and dinette to bedrooms, hallways, the entry, and stairwell. Careful preparation and two finish coats of Sherwin-Williams Cashmere were the foundation of the wall repaint.

The finished rooms show how a consistent, well-maintained backdrop lets a home’s existing materials and details stand out.

Behind the finish

The work before
the final coat.

A good repaint starts with the details you may never notice in the finished room. This project’s wall-painting scope followed a deliberate sequence:

  1. Protect the surrounding spacesProtect floors, cover furniture as needed, and mask adjacent surfaces.
  2. Prepare the wallsRemove switch and outlet covers, fill nail holes and minor imperfections, and sand as needed.
  3. Build an even finishApply two finish coats of Sherwin-Williams Cashmere, matching the existing colors.
  4. Bring the rooms back togetherReinstall covers, clean up the work areas, and review the completed work.
